Dietitians Abbey Sharp and Abby Langer are back again to torture themselves trying out some of the most popular new fad diets so you don’t have to.

The first fad diet reviewed by the 2 dietitians is the Apple Cider Vinegar Diet. This diet has gained immense popularity despite the fact that it is actually not good for your body. The idea behind this diet is that it will act as an appetite suppressant and aid in portion control if drank prior to a meal. It’s clear as the 2 ladies hold up their cups for their first drink of Apple Cider Vinegar they aren’t looking forward to testing out this diet. Regardless, they soldier on. After just one drink the look on their faces tells it all. Not only does this dieting method taste incredibly bad it absolutely does not burn fat. It does however burn the enamel off of your teeth which you are definitely going to want to keep as much of as possible. The only way this diet would make you lose weight is if you started vomiting from drinking the Apple Cider Vinegar and simply didn’t feel like eating afterwards.

The second fad diet reviewed is the infamous Baby Food Diet. This diet has been made popular due to it’s use by celebrities such as Jennifer Aniston, who apparently swear to it’s effectiveness. Both dietitians know exactly what their getting themselves into as they stare at the jars of baby food they are about to eat. The idea behind this diet is calorie and portion control. A single jar of baby food is only about 45 calories. If you ate 5 of them in a single day you still wouldn’t get even 1/4 of the calories your body needs to make it through the day. Reluctantly Abbey Sharp and Abby Langer dig into the jar of meat baby food first. The taste was so bad that Abbey Sharp actually had to go immediately for the squash just to get the flavor out of her mouth, unfortunately for her it wasn’t any better. When you choose this diet as your weight loss plan you are essentially doing nothing more than just starving yourself. This is the very definition of the wrong way to diet, and it tastes terrible to boot. Why torture yourself?

The last diet reviewed by the 2 ladies is not exactly a diet in the traditional sense. A few years ago overnight body wraps claiming to shed pounds off of you while you slept began to gain popularity. A company called “It Works!” is by far the most well known producer of the weight loss body wrap. The average cost for a weight loss body wrap is around 0.00. Fortunately there are many recipes online for creating your own weight loss body wrap. However, as you see in this video, they are pointless to use. You might as well as just wad up a hundred dollar bill and throw it out the window. The 2 dietitians take turns applying the wraps to each other making it abundantly clear how utterly ridiculous thinking that wrapping yourself in anything overnight is going to help you lose weight. Perhaps the major weight loss wrap producer should consider changing their name to “It Doesn’t Work!”.

Real weight loss comes from a balanced diet and exercise, period. There are no shortcuts to burn fat. There are no magic bullets that will allow you to shed pounds overnight as Abbey has shown you time and time again.
